December Cuteness lost in the shuffle -- Cell phone photos

I finally downloaded photos from my cell phone and there are some cute photos/stories that are worth sharing/remembering.  First up....  After we had spent some time with my dad, Opa, around Thanksgiving, Alex was saying "Opa" a lot.  It was darn adorable.  We were in the basement playing one day the following week and Alex picked up this Santa decoration, pointed at it and asked me "Opa?".

The kids were all big fans of our first major snowstorm, back on December ???,  They stood at the back window mesmerized for some time.  They were equally giddy when we opened the front door and they were able to get a better look.

Oliver and Natalie made a gingerbread house.  Missing from the completed house are the gingerbread snowman and chimney, which did not survive the building process.  Oliver was stealing candy off of it so much that I had to put it under lock & key (well, in the curio cabinet).

Lukas and I went grocery shopping and I bought so much that I had to take him out of the cart in the dairy section. He "helped" me push the cart to checkout.

Alex loved to wear these very embarrassing Elf ears that Grandma had bought the boys last year.  On the right, Alex's first taste of an ice cream sandwich.

One day just before Christmas, Oliver insisted that the entire family get dressed up as Superheros, Mommy & Daddy too!  The kids spent almost an hour running back and forth in the second floor hallway.
