Bungalow Delights

We had a blast at the bungalow this summer!  I'm so glad we put the money into the kitchen update.  The babies were happiest being ferried around in their Radio Flyer Wagon from Omi and Oliver was in heaven playing in the sand, on the playground, in the swings, running around in the clubhouse -- the SSC is definitely his happy place.   Here are some snippets from our cousin fun, in no particular order:

Sportsfest weekend, all the BOND/PAL cousins were on hand to play.  (Devon & Nathan missing from my photos).  Uncle Brian and  his friends camped out that weekend and Oliver has been excited about camping ever since (perhaps a campout birthday next year?).  This continues to be our favorite weekend of the summer.  

PAL Cousins: Believe it or not, Preston is just 3 weeks older than Alex & Lukas!

The babies loved it when Omi would come to visit on Sunday mornings and share her yogurt with them -- they were like vultures swarming when they saw her yogurt container that they recognized.  It was up at the bungalow where Alex first insisted on feeding himself!

At the SSC, we also got to hang out with Opa, Margit, and Barney.  By the end of the summer, Oliver was even willing to be around Barney, as long as he stayed off the bungalow porch!

Lukas became a walking-motoring pro this summer and loved to wander around in the field.

The babies and Oliver loved playing out on the deck with all of their outside toys (still no permanent deck furniture to get in their way). By the end of the summer, Lukas & Alex could both crawl backwards down the porch steps and adopted Oliver's love of playing in the stones at the foot of the stairs.  Towards the end of the summer, Oliver was able to start playing WITH his brothers, which is so nice to finally see.
