Kinderfest!

Here are some belated photos from our final weekend at the SSC - Labor Day weekend.  The Bromfield clan descended upon us on Sunday, along with the usual suspects (my mom, sister & cousin Robin).  The kids (that could) partook in the competition and then we had a lovely final dinner at the bungalow.  The day was a bit bittersweet, as it was the last time we got to see my dad before he left for Germany.

Plenty more photos after the break....

When we were kids, all of the kiddies were divided into two groups and all of the games were done by team.  It was up to the oldest to help/encourage their youngest teammates and then the race really took hold once the 12+ kids starting running.  My how things have changed!  Now, the divide the kids by age groups and you compete within your group.  Oliver was in the group long enough to take part in the group photo and to get hooked up with a free lunch, which was shared with Mommy, Tante Nicole, Tante Robin, Bentley & Devon.  :-)   We were quite a sight stealing bites of food from the toddlers!

On Monday morning, I took Oliver & Devon, so Nicole and Adam could sleep in.  I got a real dose of what Two Under Two is like - Yikes!  What a handful.  Thankfully, Oliver is past is most-clingy phase or this would have never been feaseable.  After breakfast at the pavallion, the boys and I spent some time on the tennis courts (which sadly stand unoccupied these days).  Oliver ran around collecting/ throwing acrons with Devon trying to keep up.  It was so cute!

Wait for me!
