New House!!!

At long last, we bought our new house!!! The process was a complete nightmare - the mortgage process involved such bureaucratic insanity, for Adam especially, in the weeks leading up to our purchase, and our closing was actually pushed back a day.  This photo was taken when we did the final walk-thru, before we knew a single missing signed document would postpone closing.

The keys are finally ours one day later!

The sellers were nice enough to let us get into the house before it was officially ours and yesterday I met with our contractor and an HVAC guy. My mom came down and took part in a meeting with an interior designer --- lots to do before we move in, and we aren't even sure when that will be.  Never a dull moment!

I spent some time in the coffee shop around the corner in between appointments and mom and I hit up the local gourmet market for lunch. Our new neighborhood has a nice vibe (very family friendly) and is easier to get to for all our Jersey family (closer to 95), which is a nice perk.
