Adam was away for four days last month and Oliver kept requesting that Daddy send us photos of him and his surroundings. I'll put aside the insult that this has never been requested of ME when I go on trips, and thought I would share the string of photos that went back and forth that week.
Early flight for Daddy with a connection in Cleveland.
Breakfast at the bungalow on Monday morning (Oliver mid coughing-fit)
Daddy on his way to a late afternoon meeting.
Killing time during yet another evening showing of our house.
Silly faces!!! Striking similarity between these two! Sticking with family tradition, the kids slept in everyday that Adam was away- great for Mommy!
Oliver enjoying the first tomatoes of our CSA - he had four little ones before we even got them loaded to take home! Something he must have learned from Jana.
Daddy in the Louisville office.
Playground fun during that day's evening house viewing, followed by bath night and a delicious omelette
for Mommy.
Another easy morning -- I even got to put on makeup before getting the twins from their cribs.
Greetings from Louisville!
Off to Grandma and Pop-pops to kill time during a Twilight Open House.
We had a great time in the pool of their neighbor's and then had dinner before driving home in the yucky storm.
... The same storm that cancelled all flights into Philly and stranded Daddy in Cleveland.
My luck ran out -- all three were up by 6:45am (which still isn't as bad as normal).
Adam had even MORE flight problems getting home that morning....
So, that was the week in a nutshell...
