Oliver's Gourd

We've learned that Oliver doesn't need toys as much as he needs unfamiliar items to explore.  New and interesting things he has enjoyed include a spatula, wisk, bottle stopper, stirrer, tupperwear, and measuring cups - anything that is plastic and/or doesn't have sharp edges has been fair game.  A new item will usually keep him busy for upwards of 30min, buying us time to prepare dinner, do dishes, etc.  One day, I handed him a gourd that was part of a decorative autumn basket and its been a fan-favorite ever since.
