They are getting so big! One of the things I really enjoyed while home on maternity leave was making the time to take photos of the boys. Oliver really enjoys getting in the photo as well when he gets to hold the babies. Lukas (L) and Alex (R) in all of the photos -- "Lukas-left" is a great way for us to keep tabs on the babies in their crib (so you know which baby you have when you grab them in the middle of the night) or which bottle belongs to who.
The boys are doing great. We are especially lucky by how well they all sleep. We put all three kids to bed between 7:30pm-8pm - if Oliver is being a bit uncooperative, the babies don't fuss or complain about the noise. Surprisingly, if the babies are struggling to get to sleep, Oliver doesn't get upset either, even if its a night when we need to come in multiple times to soothe them (which thankfully doesn't happen too often). On most nights, bedtime is uneventful and all three are tucked in and quiet by 7:45pm!! The babies get us up once between 3-4pm to feed. Very manageable!
In utero, we had called Oliver "Wolfie", which was lots of fun. I wanted to have a name for the babies as well and we called them Max & Moritz from the old German fable. My mom had these shirts made for the boys, which is pretty funny (not the greatest photo, unfortunately).
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this photo. The adorable soccer outfits were a present from Jana.
