Still plenty to do...

We are moved in, thank goodness!  Adam got a lot of small projects done around the house this weekend, and we are mostly upacked (over 75%, which I consider a win).   This week, the runners are getting installed and our bathrooms should get finished.  Woo hoo!!!

But, I thought by now there would be less on my plate in need of immediate attention.

Exhibit A.  The storm door in our backyard (with a stupid doggie door!) has broken off the hinge and needs to be replaced sooner rather than later, since cold air and um, RAIN can come through the space between it and the house.

Exhibit B. Master bathroom (marble since been added), is still missing faucets and we need to return these awful pendants and get something that works better. Our showers also don't have shower doors, so equally unusable. We just recently had the hallway bathroom lights added -- for the first three days in the house, we had two full bathrooms that didn't have faucets or functional showers and the other two full bathrooms didn't have lights, so they couldn't be used at night.  Hardly ideal.

Exhibit C. Blinds.  To say we are unhappy with the blinds that were installed is an under-statement.  Who makes a blind that has 8 pull cords to raise the blind?  We're feeling like the interior designer we hired has been a complete waste of time and money.  Blah.  They have offered to help us replace/upgrade, but that requires more decisions to be made on our part to remedy.

Exhibit D.  Alex & Lukas.... I totally dropped the ball and they are preschool-less.  Less than ideal. There is one place that has slots open immediately, but its far away, and I wasn't a big fan of their condition.  We have Karla coming one full day a week to augment Lena's hours.  And we have our fingers crossed that the preschool I want to get them in (7th & 8th on the waitlist), will be able to find us a day or two (even if they don't go on the same day, just so we get our foot in the door).
