Week in Review

We've survived our first week of our new life.  But just barely...

Oliver has not been enjoying his first week at daycare, as we had feared.  The teacher actually told Adam at Monday's pick-up that she had never seen a kid as distraught all day like Oliver was - poor lil' guy!  He seemed to be better by the end of the week, but there is still plenty of crying at drop off.

drinking tea with Mommy to start our day!
GOOD NEWS - OLIVER'S BLOODWORK CAME BACK CLEAN! So, whatever he had, it seems to be gone.

It has been my earnings season, which means I've needed to get in early and leave late a few days this week -- no fun for any of us. I have another week and a half of this and then two business trips. Phew!

Adam & I are beyond sleep deprived.  One of the effects of Oliver's tough adjustment to daycare has been waking up in the middle of the night with serious seperation anxiety, so we are bringing him into bed with us.  Not only does he like to sleep perpendicular to us, but he has also been awake and ready to start his day before 6am every morning.  Gee, can't wait until daylight savings time -which means he will be getting us up before 5am!!!!  Ugh.

Jana is coming to visit!!!  She can't come soon enough!  We are all very excited.
We have a second interview with an au pair today -- fingers crossed we like her!!!!

On Monday afternoon, Oliver figured out how to JUMP!
