Cousin Fun - Lightening McQueen Style

On Sunday, we headed to my Uncle Bill/Tante Kim's house where Nicole and Devon were having a playdate with my cousin Billy and his son Nathan.  My mom was also there and the cousins had a blast.  My uncle has lots of acreage behind his house and very cool boy-toys. Someone gave them a battery operated car and Oliver was in HEAVEN!  They also have a quad and a golf cart - a little something for everyone.  After driving around on the yard, we quarantined the fun to the hockey rink, where we could keep a better eye on them.  It was a chilly day, but even the babies joined us outside.  We can't wait to do it again once it's a bit warmer!

Everyone had a great time (videos to be posted soon).  The boys were great at taking turns and it was comical watching Devon ride the car.  Because he's so short, he needed to lean way back to hit peddle and still be able to navigate.  He kept looping around in a circle.  Both Oliver & Devon were a riot not understanding that they were going to crash into walls - funny how parts of the toddler brain just don't process things like that.

Inside there was also plenty to do.  The boys had fun playing with old trains from when my cousins were younger.  The playdate ended with a very cute game of Monster-Uncle Bill.  The kids would take turn running from the back doors to my mom, passing by the Monster who would try and grab them.  Absolutely adorable to watch!
