We are all so happy to be able to get out of the house now that the weather has finally turned. I'm so happy we are back to our usual "In-Philly" weekend routine. On Saturday mornings, after Adam has let me sleep in, I schlepp the crew to the Farmers Market for fresh greens and some time at the park and/or playground while Adam catches up on some sleep. The boys can play a bit more independently now, which is great.
This was a Saturday afternoon trip for frozen yogurt, including a rare cheesy smile from Lukas when I actually had my camera out! This is also just a few blocks from our house -- so many great changes in our neighborhood since we bought our house!
Another routine we are falling back into is spending some time between dinner (boys eat very early ~5:00-5:30) and bedtime burning off some energy in the neighborhood. Sometimes its just me and Oliver, but the lil' ones also enjoy stretching their legs. This beautiful city gem (St. Albaans Street) is just a half block from our house. The boys love running a loop around the garden area and I love that I can set them loose without having to worry about cars. Other families are also usually out enjoying the nice weather, so Oliver has other kids to play, chase, and ride his scooter with... It would be nice to make some friends with some of these families in the coming weeks.
