Consignment Sale Junkie

Tis the season for consignment sales!!!  Yes, yes, I've become a bit obsessed, BUT they are a great way to pick up kids gear at a reasonable price.  This is the second time that we sold some of our baby stuff to fund our purchased.   At the Main Line MOM (Moms of Multiples) sale, we ended up making $286, which more than covered what we bought.

We expect the trampoline to come in handy this winter when the kids need to burn off some energy and are trapped in the house.  One of my favorite finds was this Melissa & Doug parking garage, which we bought for the same amount that we sold a Melissa & Doug wooden farm (also a consignment sale purchase) that Oliver never really took an interest in.

For $35, I was able to get a peacoat, raincoat, autumn vest for Oliver, and snow jackets for Alex & Lukas.  

Oliver's favorite was easily all the "Cars" cars that Adam scooped up.  In particular, Mac who came with (another) Lightening McQueen. We also got a ton of board games that Oliver really enjoys - considering he's just 3.5, he's pretty good at Connect Four already!

At our second sale, we were a bit disappointed by the toy offerings, but this two-wheeler, with training wheels and Lightening McQueen helmet, were a big hit!  $29 for everything makes us pretty happy too!
