This year, we headed up to Jersey to spend the long weekend with family. On Good Friday, we hung out at Kristy & Ray's. My mom was watching Devon, because his daycare was closed and Nicole had to work. Since Bentley had missed out on cousin fun last time we were up, Robin coordinated to have him sleep over at Grandma's Thursday night so he could join in.
Oliver was attached to my cousin Brian's (now a senior in college) Buzzlight year doll. He was amazingly territorial about it and wouldn't let anyone else play with it.

The highlight of the day for me, and the boys, was our "adventure" with Omi & Grandma to the brook. The boys had fun throwing rocks and sticks in the water. I had to keep reminding myself that hopping across the stream on rocks while carrying Lukas probably wasn't a good idea. I definitely want to be baby-free next time, so I can have a bit of fun of my own. (Adam & Alex were napping while we were out).

Saturday morning, we headed up to the bungalow where we met with the contractor who is going to redo our kitchen! He's also going to replace some windows and our front door. We will be adding a shed on the right side as well -- that should end our major remodel work. Very excited!!!
Check out the trees that feel during Hurricane Sandy between ours and the Braunschweiger bungalow -- I hope they get taken care of before we are there next. They were making me VERY nervous!

On the way back to Omi's we stopped for a rare McDonald lunch. Daddy climbed in the back to eat with Oliver. After car naps, we headed to the local playground to enjoy the nice weather, and kill some time until Nicole, Devon, & Omi returned.
