Land of Make Believe

While in Jersey, Nicole and Robin and I planned a day of toddler fun for the big kids.  The Land of Make Believe is just 30min from the club and it was the perfect place for a toddler outing.  Kristy, Oma Betty, and Cousin Elise came up to the club to take care of the lil' boys.  Fresh from the Wildwood boardwalk, I had been expecting Oliver to have a bit more fun, but he wasn't as interested in the rides.  We got their first, and Oliver & I hit a couple of rides before meeting up with the others.  Since Devon was under 2, there were only a few rides he was allowed to ride, and he wasn't even a fan of the carousel.  Bentley, on the other hand, got a Gold Star - he was the happiest kid of the bunch and definitely had the most fun!

I didn't bring my camera - here's what I got on my cell phone -- not too shabby!

I was most impressed that we not only convinced Oliver to go on the rollercoaster, but that he didn't cry while we were on it.....  Not that he was having fun.  He snuggled up close to me and whimpered quite a bit, but they did NOT have to stop the ride to let us off (which happened a few turns before us).  Bentley on the other hand, was sitting with Robin in the first car and would hold his hands up when it went down the steepest part!

Oliver and Devon both liked the train the most - it did a lap around the premise at a very leisurely pace.

We didn't get to really enjoy the water park area.  Oliver is so slow to warm to anything involving water that we would have had to have camped out there right from the beginning for him to have been comfortable enough to have left the edge of the pool.  Hopefully, next year we can do the leisurely raft float.
