Somewhere this post got lost in the shuffle. A friend that had twins shortly after I did posted on FB from her twin newborn photoshoot. It made me bummed that I hadn't overridden Adam's veto of getting photos taken, so I called up the woman that had done our family photoshoot last Thanskgiving and had her take photos of the babies {cough} back in early August. I was bummed we didn't get a good photo of the twins together in a basket for the birth announcement, so she actually came back and took some more (which meant we got some photos with Adam too). Unfortunately, we still didn't have a good photo of the babies together! These were the two photos we ended up including in our birth announcement.
I briefly considered using this one, which is pretty funny, but didn't want Alex emotionally scarred as a result!
